Shiv Automation Pvt. Ltd. (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates the Sales App mobile application (the “App”), a field sales force management tool. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use the App. By using the App, you agree to this policy.

• Account information: name, email, phone number, and the organization assigned to your account.
• Location data: precise GPS location collected during check-in and automatically every 10 minutes while you are checked in, including when the App is in the background or closed.
• Customer visit data: the location and time of visits to customers assigned to your account.
• Sales activity: sales orders and related details you submit through the App.
• Device information: device model, operating system, and app version for diagnostics.

Why We Collect Location in the Background

The App is provided to field sales officers by their employer. The mobile phone and all equipment used to run this application are provided separately by the company for official work purposes. Background location is essential to record attendance, monitor field routes, and verify customer visits. Tracking occurs only while you are checked in and stops when you check out.

How We Use Information

• To provide attendance, route tracking, customer visit, and sales order features.
• To share field activity reports with your employer/organization.
• To maintain security, prevent misuse, and improve the App.

Data Sharing

We share your location, visit, and sales data with the organization that issued your account (your employer). We do not sell your personal data. We may share data with service providers (e.g., hosting) under confidentiality obligations, or when required by law.

Data Retention

We retain data for as long as your account is active or as required by your organization and applicable law. You may request deletion as described below.

Your Choices & Rights

• You can disable location permission in device settings; however, core App features will not function.
• You may check out to stop background tracking at any time.
• You may request access to or deletion of your data by contacting us.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Children’s Privacy

The App is intended for employed field sales staff and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy and will post the revised version with a new effective date.
